speakers and head unit help

if your not going to run active, which i would assume you are not, one of the lower kenwood excelons would be nice for the deck and man, i wouldnt even worry about the back speakers. In fact i would disconect them all together that way your soundstage is in front of you were it is suppose to be not right by your head.

when u say run active i dont know what u mean, but im lloking for a head unit that is not dvd capable or well i dont care, but i want one that is xm built in and im going to use tha hell out of it

running active is where you dont use the crossovers that come with the components but cross them over with either the amp, an eq, or the deck. you dont need a $400 deck if you are not planing to do this as it would be overkill. And let me restate this: Leave the back speakers unplugged and just run one set of components in the front. you will get much better sound quality and much better imaging.
