Sold some stereo stuff to get this!
Eclipse Link
It's a double DIN: CD, DVD, Navigation, 30GB Hard Drive, AM/FM Tuner, MP3, Sirius player.
It's got the 30GB HD so it can hold up to 3,000 songs in memory and has a Juke feature (kinda like MusicMatch Jukebox) that allows you to bring up any song or play them all in mixed random or just about anything else you wanna do.
Of course it has an awesome navigation feature which I could really use, especially if I get into the acadmeny and start moving around Cali.
The really cool thing is I really won't lose much in the way of sound quality compared to my current top of the line Eclipse CD Players that I have now. Usually DVD/Nav units have run of the mill sound quality.
Granted now I can't afford to have a big stereo in both trucks but since the lil truck is more for racing I can deal with a lil cheap CD player and 1 sub.

Yup. )
Aux input for my laptop or rear-view camera or whatever. It also has additional outputs for head rest monitors if I ever got dumb and had kids. LOL

That's awesome man. Would it fit in my 99 Sierra EC? Also my parents want to get a navigation system for their 03 LQ9 Escalade, would you suggest this one or the one that comes in the newer H2's and escalade's?

That is SWEET... this is almost exaclty what i wanted!!! So lets say i have a laptop that has video ports, it will link dircelty to it?? Or... cause what i want to do is run efilive on a laptop but leave the actual laptop sitting under the seat or hiden basically!! Then i would have an external keyboard that i can unfold out of the center console and type on, so would i be able to link that to the video system to actually view it

Correct. I am going to modify my dash to MAKE it fit. Not sure if I'll have to do any fiberglass work but I had my main installer look at it and he thinks it won't be difficult really.
Rebel1, I perosnally like the aftermarket deck sooo much better. The Nav stuff is usally better as well as the overall feature. Plus this is DVD. In an 03+ the deck will fit nicely but it will require a bunch of electronic adapters to make it work. All 03+ GM trucks require them to make any aftermarket deck work.
Black, I thought you meant for sound. I am not sure about the video input thing. I could find out for ya. As far as I know you may be able to use any video device since the camera works on it but you wouldn't be able to access the program material through the touch screen. It would be like a computer monitor. You can do jack except look at it. LOL... Got me thinking though.
