Silverado Gauge Cluster Swap

If I wanted to swap in say an Escalade or SSS gauge cluster into my '03 Silverdo, would everything on it just work as normal (namely the trans temp gauge that isn't present on my stock cluster)?

Plug it in and evrything will work including trans temp

Yep mine swapped over perfectly on my 2000 took 15 min in the dark

Is there a year limit up to that it will work in my '03, as long as its the same body style?

03-07c will work on your truck. Some of the 05-07c may give you a battery light, however everything will work like it should.
