OK, I'm really likeing something along the lines of a Pioneer AVH-p3100DVD. I seem to remember a link to maybe gmfullsize.com or somewhere where a guy made this fit in a -02.

you don't need a double din.. I have an '02. Most places will sell a kit on the install.

I know you can get a fit kit, but I'm just not a big fan of those styles.

As for me I have the Pioneer AVIC,I've been very pleased with this unit,it does everything I want & need it to do.

Some companies even make din and a half... Like the size from the factory... Something to think about... No slim single din, and no major mods for a double din...

If you dont want to modify it any, just get a deck with the 1.5 din with usb or sd and be done with it. Your only gaining 1" with the mod. Not worth the bs if you ask me
