Default Service Air Bag

So I did a little "Dukes of Hazard" in my truck over an unseen speed bump/pedestrian cross walk. Did all kinds of damage to the truck but all has been fixed except the "SERVICE AIR BAG" on the display in the dash.

The air bag did NOT deploy but the light is on. Where is that sensor in the bumper? I broke the front bumper cover when the light came on.

How do I reset, fix, cut or replace to delete that message?

Thanks Gents!

Chad

I believe there are two air bag sensors in the front, one by each side of the frame.

A scan tool would be needed to figure out what sensor is the one that is tossing the code, then clear it with a scan tool.

I would check for a damaged sensor. A faulty sensor is likely what is causing that message.
