Ahhh... Yes, my google search brought me to the Canadian site yesterday.

Yeah think your right its been awhile since I checked my account as its been automaticity withdrawn since like 09 so think it is like $25 a month or something at least close to that. I think my XM on my truck is $14. Idk either way I think On'Star is worth it as it has come through for me a few times already. When I broke my driveshaft on my crew cab I had it picked up for free (would have been around $115 for a wrecker) and had it dropped off at a dealership. That dealership wanted me to pay for a warranty part so I had On'Star pick it up from there again for free ( another $100 and something without) and take it to my preferred dealer of choice no questions asked. I'm not for sure but I think if you have a flat or run out of gas it's covered too. But yeah to me with the remote start and info features as well as the distance and security the factory remote start and On'Star are worth it.

I agree. Had I known about this before I went with a range extender, I think I would have chosen OnStar with the mobile app. FYI, a Viper range extender kit (9251VL) and a programed DB-ALL from a dealer cost me $212, and I shopped around and installed myself. That would have bought me around a year of OnStar service.

Will call today and see what they charge per month. I think it might vary a little depending where you live. I know the option with Nav is more.

Yeah I just use the maps app on my iPhone it works awesome especially with the new update. I use it for everything especially when I'm out at work in the field seems like everyone in the oil field uses that app. The pins really make it easy to find the locations.
