Default Pre-Fab JL 13TW5, not a PERFECT Fit - basic system in RCSB

So, I've been assembling a VERY budget minded system for our RCSB, catalyzed by no provision for iPod, buttons were worn on Fact HU and the fact front speakers were toast.

Here is the layout:

Clarion CX501 - $191 off Amazon Shipped
Axxess GMOS - $79 off Amazon
Metra Double DIN - $12 off Amazon
Cadence 6.5 Components - $59 off eBay Shipped
Cadence rear 4x6 Coav - $29 off eBay Shipped
Recycled ADS PH15 - orig price $399 in 1991. Current value $100?
4 Gauge EFX Power Wire - removed from vehicle I traded for and sent to auction. - Free
Pyle 12 AWG Speaker Wire $29 Shipped 100'
Dynamat - trade for some Tundra parts.

The big splurge was:
Pre-Fab CS113TG-TW5 - JL Audio 13TW5-3, Sealed Loaded Truck Enclosure
Retail is $649 - got it new for $389 Shipped.

Grand Total - $888

Unfortunately on the NBS RCSB, the factory plastic trim panel below the window does not allow it to tuck all the way under. It is about 1/2" too tall even with the fact carpet insulation removed.

I also don't like the fact it is black and would prefer it to match the fact carpet. I'll probably build a custom box later this winter and make it look more integrated.

As for sound quality! WOW, this thing is great!! I'm only giving it 100W RMS (Very Clean however). It does great on all forms of music - good detail on the new Chili Peppers. BOOM! for the HS students (my Son drives this). Good kick for Rock. I'm impressed.

Here are some pics.

I had that sub with a 500/1 in my wife's Yukon XL with Infiniti Kappa 6 1/2 separates, 6 1/2 coax and 3 1/2 in D pillars with a 300/4 and it was one of the best sounding stereos I've ever done. And I've done a lot
