heres my problem... yesterday i was hookin up my radio to my car.. and well 2 wires touched sparks came out... i'm thinkin i blew a fuse... power locks don't work now interier lights dont work and my seat doesn't work .. i'v tried to look for the fuse but i dont see none that are blown... and was wondering if anyone could help me... i also tried lookin at the circut brakers... by engine but doesn't look like anythings blown please help.... thank you

 

When you look at fuses, wherever that panel may be, you can't always tell if they're blown by how they look. Try finding a fuse labelled interior or something close and swapping it with an identical fuse.

What you could do is take a note of all the fuses in the panel, and replace them one by one with an indentical fuse, until the lights come on. You could also hit a Explorer forum and see if they have more direct advice. Good luck

 

well a friend found the fuse thank god thats all it was..... but now heres my other queston.... the old radio had one rectangle plug but when i bought the wire harness theres 2 and the one doesn't work and i can seem to find the other one in the car.. so i dont know how to hook up speakers... but the radio power works just no sound.. caz im not sure how to hook it up... anyone can help me for this ???

so........... now im wondering how to hook up speakers with out usen the amp .. i took my panel off and found amp.. but im not sure which wires are for what..... and whats the easyest way to hook up speakers with out usen them factory amp... if anyone had a diagram of the wires.. on this it would be greatly apprecated... thank you
