I have the D3 and I love it. I don't know how I lived without it before I got it. I keep the nav cd in at all times, because I have my ipod hooked up. I can use both at the same time. I also have the bluetooth phone adapter hooked in. Its amazing! Go with the D3 and you will not regret it.

Actually I went with the Alpine IVA-205 / Blackbird setup and I love it. MP3 and bluetooth built in and I, adding a USB Interface (like the Ipod but you can just plug in a memory stick or the such) and Im going to try to run a 120gig HD on it.

Check out the Alpine IVA-205. Its what your looking for but without nav. Mind if I ask why no nav? Hell the way you work out in the boonies you can put in coordinates and it will get ya there easy.
The nice thing about the 205 is your can later on buy the Blackbird and its a portable unit and goes inside the 205. Im offshore right now but I will take some pics when I get home. Ever thought about going with the factory GM Nav unit? You can get em for a decent price. (not nearly as much as from the factory)
Hows the 93 coming along?
