Email the Walt fella that everyone is talking about he'll have you a price within a few hours.
reman is about $750
new is about $1100
so quite reasonable, considering a pioneer or kenwood is about $600, then about $300 worth of install stuff

I'm not sure what an audiophile is, i'll have to check that out, but even if it is a little less then competition sound quality, after market speakers and an amp plus a better tuning head unit are still gonna sound way better then stock!

i would go with the OGM-1 over the Rosen unit. and bang for the buck the OGM-1 is a great unit, plug and play, no aftermarket modules, and has that clean factory look. and i might be able to get you a reman OGM-1 for a little cheaper then that since we deal with them at my job..

I have a stock navi, DVD system out of my 2007 avalanche Ltz. Works perfect and I'll do $275 shipped on it. For that factory look.

I checked out that Rosen and it looks good from the front, but the lack of RCA outs and no sub control and no eq control kinda turns me off from it, and all I could find googling was used units, and at the cost of $800 I'd rather just buy the ogm1
can you only get reman units? I'd prefer to grab a new one

if you google advent ogm-1 it'll bring up a bunch of distributors. and they all have a "find your closest retailer" option

What voltage are the preouts ? You have to look at things like that to. Incase you add amps later on plus what functions and settings does it have.

For example my hu is 4 volt preouts, active capable and I have time allignment
