Default New Stereo System?

I just bought a Dual 7" DVD CD player, 6.5" Kickers for the front doors and 6.75" kickers for the rear doors. I would like to have a little bit of bass to add to this, about equivalent to the stock system. I dont like a lot of bass at all but still want to hear a little beat. I heard a 6" amplified bass tube would work perfect and fit perfect behind the seat of my crewcab. What do you think?

The basslinks are nice too. For a simple solution, basslink triumphs over the tubes. You can find them on ebay for about 100 bucks IIRC.

I like my Basslink, nice tight bass but not overpowering. I'm using it with the factory head unit...works great in my RC I've had it for a few years now.

I've never had good luck with any bass tubes. Maybe they are better than when I tried one. I'd have to agree with mcconditioner, downfired 8" Kicker L7 ported (sealed if you want more sound quality, less loud tho) under the seat sounds real good. I just installed that setup in a friends extended cab and it sounds great. Looking at a little more cost tho if you go with this setup.

If you have the plastic center console I would look into the stelthbox as well. Utilizes all of the wasted space under the console and sounds really nice. Then it leaves you the back of the cab to mount a board and an amp or two without giving up under seat storage.

Thanks everyone for the input. I am thinking about putting a full center console in rather than the flip console I have now. If I do put the console in I may hide a woofer under it. I am going to wait and see. I put the Kickers in my doors yesterday and they sound great. They are the KS series.

Infinity makes a all in one amp and sub box that would fit perfectly under the back seat.
