i havent bought anything yet, but tell me what you think;
Hifonics BXi1206D amplifier
2- JL Audio 12w3 (dual 2 ohm)
and after that i have a couple questions,
Would a capacitor be worth the money?
Whats the best box?
Is it difficult to install Dynamat yourself?
And can cd players that are usb compatible connect to a Zune?

to answer one of ur question is the capacitor worth the money it all depends if you like to chill and drink with ur system full blast at home or at ur friends house then yes its worth the hassel not having to turn ur truck every 20 to 30 min if u have a regular battery however if u have a yellow top optima battery its almost the same
what about ur voice whats the set up for that

The purpose of a capacitor is to discharge and recharge very quickly, it has absolutely no purpose if your truck isn't running (unless you're using it as a distribution block, but that's a different story). A cap is more of a bandaid for an inadequte charging system by decreasing voltage drops, it does not act as a 2nd battery. For example, if hitting huge deep bass with your headlights on they will most likely dim if you're not running a high output alternator. The voltage drop is caused from more power going to your amp instead of the rest of your electronics. If you install a cap the amp will pull voltage from the cap, quickly discharge, and then recharge getting ready for the next bass note. (i'm using bass as an example as it takes more power produce lower frequency notes). The alternator will charge the cap as well as provide power to the rest of the vehicle without a huge voltage drop, hence no more dimming headlights. Long story short, you don't need a cap if you have an adequate charging system.
Best box? depends what kind of sound you want and the music you listen to. Sealed boxes are good for tight quick bass (rock), ported for deeper "booming" bass (rap). Ported boxes are also tuned for a certain frequency. Sealed boxes save space.
Dynamat is a piece of cake to install. It's a PITA pulling your carpet and panels to get to the sheet metal though.
Get a better amp, just IMO

I was wondering if anyone has any opinion on FI. Q's subs. I heard they were pretty incredible. and also if i were to get these, it would be most of my budget, so what would be a budget happy amp to power them

Ive read nothing but good things about the FI Q subs but havent heard them personally... I have some Image Dynamics IDQ's 10's and I love them even though I am underpowering them those things hit nice many of my buddies have been very surprised on how hard these hit...as far as sound deadener goes Ive heard that raammat is by far the best bang for your buck compared to dynomat as far as installing I dont know yet but give me a couple weeks ill be doing it on my truck.
