Default Need help w/ '06 Sierra speaker install...

I have an '06 Crew and am in the process on installing (4) Polk Audio MMC 650 Momo's to replace the stockers. These are 6.5" Coaxial speakers and come with an inline crossover.

Today I had the passenger front door panel off to find there are seperate wiring harnesses going to the woofer (mouinted in the door) and to the tweeter (which mounts in the panel itself). My question is, does the stock speaker wire harness already have an inline crossover? Should I delete the crossover included with the PA Momo's and just cut the factory harness' and connect the two wires from the woofer to the woofer input side of the Momo's, and connect the two wires going to the stock tweeter to the Tweeter side of the Momo's?

If the stock harness doesn't have a crossover, can I just cut the two wires going to the woofer and wire them in ahead of the Momo's inline crossover. If I do that, will I get a signal to the tweeter side of the Momo's? If I do do this, should I just leave the stock tweeter harness unplugged? What happens if I reconnect the stock tweeter, in addition to the Momo's?

Just thought I'd ask some questions before cutting any wires. I put the door back together in stock configuration today, figuring I'll tackle it again after I have a better idea what I'm doing.

Any info / advice would be much appreciated...

The way I usually do an install like this is to use the speaker wire going to the woofer to feed the momo crossover and leave the factory tweeter unplugged. It is best to run larger speaker wire if your steping up to a quality component set but if you want to keep the factory radio and dont want to run any extra wire do as I said above.
