Two 12s IMO just cant move the proper amount of air. I would go with a ported box also. Check the specifications on those amps and see if it is 2000 watts RMS or Peak I would almost bet it is peak and peak doesnt mean ****.

1200 RMS is good and if you feel safe with those amps then go for it. Is that 1200 watts at 2ohms, 1ohm or what that will also come in to factor on what subs you can go with.

GO PORTED! I have one ported 10'' kicker l7 (Square sub) with a mtx 1501d and it out hits my friends setup, he has two 12'' mtx audio 8000s with a Rockford 1001bd in a sealed box. Ported is much louder IMO

Looks like it will look good. My buddy hits consistent 140db with 1 12" MTX thunder 9500 and a memphis 1100d amp. How much you looking to hit?

There we go, a pair of Memphis amps, RE Amps, or perhaps some Arc Audio KAR amps. Don't get me wrong, Sony may get you going, perhaps 70% of the way there... It takes a good brand to reach your goals whatever they maybe.

As for subs, if you really want to win.. A pair of XXX subs from Re, some Adire Audio subs... Heck I would even put JL Audio (hate them with a passion) over your Rockfords. Here's why.. You want to move air, lots of it. To do that you need to have a long XMAX, that is the distance the cone travels, one-way. The T2's are short throw subs, compared to the other cream of the crop subs out there from RE, Adire, and even JL Audio.

I would re-think your goals and budget. Perhaps keep your amps, but at least upgrade your subs.

If you have the space for a ported box, great. If your going for SPL competitions, you will want to tune for it's peak resonant freq whatever that may be. But it'll sound like crap in terms of SQ.

notice how many people who were on the re wagon and then finally bought some,..... now are putting up posts all over. "help me get loud",....... "i thought they would hit, but they don't",........ "for sale, just don't have the sq or spl i wanted".....

sure, you can get them loud. people are doing it. but as with any equip, these people know how to get every thing right. too many people think that just cause these guys do it, so can they. when in all reality, they'd be much better off with a reputable entry level sub. and i don't mean the fake fosgate reputation. the XXX, it is not efficient. you will need power to get it loud. example.......if you only have 500 true watts, do not go for a sub with 1" xmax and a 4" diameter coil. you will get killed by a guy with a sub of 1/2" xmax on a 2" diameter coil.

fosgate and sony......i don't see it happening. it might suit your needs. that's what matters any way. running 2 amps will help, it might get you close. get everything dialed right, you might surprise us all. on cheap stuff though, i saw a guy with 2 profile amps and 2 (i can't remember what) 15's, get spanked by a guy with 2 10's and a 300 watt amp. and that guy had a really nice install. the install was worth more than his 2 amps and 2 subs. cheap equip just doesn't perform like the better stuff. the normal daily pounders i do, have 2 12's ported, 1 REAL 1kw amp, and all consistently put up mid 142's on the TL, in the low 40 hz's, high 30 hz's. depending on the vehicle. and still retain great sq. there's a few people here and there who can do more than that. but that number is very strong for a simple system. most people that i see, that THINK their crap pounds,...... "shakes pictures off the wall", usually do between 128 and 135. and those are the poeple who do the most talkin' about how hard they hit. then don't understand why their 2000 watt amps and 1500 watt subs just got embarrassed by 2 500 watt subs and 1000 watts. i got tired of running wires from the amp on my highs, over to peoples subs in their car. showed them that my 250 watt highs amp kills ther 750, 800, 900 watt sony, legacy, profile, etc. sub amp. it happened many times. same against the entry level fosgate. but the high end fosgate amps have better power.

arc is good and solid. but i'd look for something with more bang for the buck that is just as clean. what it does, has never measured up to it's price, imo.

i am not intending to bash any one. i am just sharing my experiences and advice. take it for what you think it's worth.
