Looking for the right sound in a crew cab.... not sure what it is yet.
I am starting to think about what sound I want for my truck next.
I will start by telling you what I have.
Bought my 02 1500HD with 2 JL 8's behind the rear seat powered by a diamond... unknown don't care...
Obviously I play country and hard rock like any other truck guy.... but what I really want to to find something that will really excel with some of the dub sounds around these days. Skrillex and such....
I have JL components ready for the front and infinity components for the rear powered by an old skool rockford punch 4-channel.
Anyone have any experience with something like this in a crew cab?
Under or behind back seat I dont care as long as there is room for passengers in the back.
I have seen threads where guys raise the back seat and that not out of the question. But is a home mmade box the only option at that point?
How do I calculate volume when it goes over the hump and such.
Obviously I am a bit new at this so if anyone has ideas or experience with where I am headed let me know.
Obviously I know this is talked about often but when searching I found very few threads relating to excellent performing boxes in crew cabs.
Maybe I'm not looking the right way???
