Default Keeping stock SUB w/ aftermarket radio. Possible??

I've been told that my 05 silverado has a stock sub in the center console. Now I know where the extra bass was coming from. Anyways I was thinking about getting the Kenwood DDX6017 double din 6.5'' screen to replace my stock radio. But I wanted to keep my stock sub is this possible? Has anyone done this? If so how did you do it???

You will be able to keep it. When oyu get the screen you have to get an adapter harness that has the factory style h/u plug and the other end is wires that splice in teh plug with wires for the h/u and you keep all the factory stuff functional.

What do you mean by h/u plug?
