Default k-9 Alarm

Hey guys, I bought my truck about a year ago and apparently the previous owner installed a K-9 alarm. Well About 2 months ago the little ring that holds the clicker on your key chain broke and I lost the clicker. For some reason the alarm has now decided to go off every time I unlock the driver side door. This is pretty annoying being that I have to hurry up and start the truck in order to stop the darn horn blowing. Anybody have any ideas on how to fix it or even better, remove it completely. Any help would be great.
Thanks

It's a good alarm for what it cost. The same company who makes them builds crimeguard excalibur etc. You can either unplug it under the dash or order a new remote. Omega research and developement is who is the parent company if you want to hunt up a remote.

there is a fuse in it somewhere you can pull under the dash to shut it up for now its usually routed in the wiring (we have to go through this at the shop all the time)
