Just finished installing the new system!
Well I finished installing my kenwood seperates in all four doors and my two 12" orion subs. I went ahead and put 6.5"ers in the rear doors just to try it out and see how it sounds and man it sounds awesome alot of people talk about how the rear is just filler noise and all that bs well they need to step into my truck. Right now Im only running a memphis 200watt amp on all four door speakers but it will soon be a 400 cause the 200 doesnt seem to like playing at the levels that I enjoy listening to without overheating. I have a memphis 1000watt 1ohm stable amp on the subs and thye sound pretty damn good for being in a cheapo box. I am very happy how it turned out but taking the rear seat out and all that crap was kind of a pita. I had to do it to mount the amps right plus I ran 2 gauge wire for power to a distribution block to split off to the two amps the 200 got a 8 gauge and the 1000 got 4 gauge.

Heres what the sub setup looks like installed

Heres the actual subs
Here you can see the bottom of my 1000watt amp I had to take the back seat out in order to mount it like this but was well worth it I think it turned out to be a clean install
This pic looks like crap but figured I would go ahead and put it in there this is suppose to be the bottom of my 200watt amp but it is small and I mounted it a little higher up on the wall but it is mounted just like the other amp.

I ran the wires under the plastic kick plate there is a little channel in there perfect for running wires. The big bluw wire is 2gauge so as you can see you can fit some big wire in there I think you could fit 0gauge in there. This is also where I tapped in to the wires for the rear speakers.
Here is apic of how I tapped into the rear speakers instead of running individual larger gauge wire to each speaker. It isnt necessary to run bigger wire. I went through this pita in my s-10 and ran 12gauge wire to each door speaker from my amps and I noticed absolutely no difffernce so I decided to take the easy way out this time.
So there you go theres the pics I didnt take a pic of my door speakers cause you cant even see them behind the grills cause they are black. The headunit isnt anything to write home about so I didnt bother with it let me know if you want any other pics or have questions about my install.
