just got done testing it with the battery and walla! it works now at first the fan was REALLY loud but after a while it went quiet. now that i know it powers on im gonna get it installed. I appreciate everyone's help here!

Ive got the vm9214 in my truck and I love it. Im sure youll like the 9213 but are you gonna be wanting to play movies while driving, if so I know how to make it work.

yea i mean theyre low end and not anywhere near the best out there but i think itll do what i need it too so i think ill like it. but ive heard to be able to watch video or media on the move you have to ground the stereos parking brake cable right?

On mine its a pink wire, but yes you just ground the parking brake wire and your good to go
