I have read post after post concerning interfacing an IPOD Touch into a factory radio in my GMC 2005 2500HD. It has no XM, no Onstar, single disc, with steering wheel controls. I want to retain my steering wheel controls to control the IPOD. I'm somewhat confused on the different brands and what is required for each one to work 'right'. Thanks for any help you can offer!! I want to order something this week so I can have it installed next week for vacation.

What is everyone's opinion on the best performing interface?

GMPD2, you can charge Ipod, and control off Ipod, off steering wheel.

 

I got the Soundgate GMPD2 and installed it this morning. I now have to set up my playlist on my IPOD Touch.... any advice (limits of number of playlists, etc) of what I can do?
