Default iPod shuffle in car?

Can you put one of the iPod shuffles in your car? I wasn't sure if they had the same type of hookup as regular iPods. I'd want one of the direct integration units, not an FM Modulator..

I really just want something that can carry a few hundred songs and has shuffling capabilities, cause I'd only use it in my truck and the price of the other iPod's is rediculous just to buy it for that reason...

or is there another brand that offers a good MP3 player w/hookup?

Those shuffles are cool for the gym or running around the thing is that there are not alot of car accersory's for them.

All wireless fm mods suck i think the only one that they have is the headphone jack fm mod. for the shuffle still crap.

They have a direct adapter made by a few people here is the problem if you have the stock radio it can not have the in-dash cd changer not compatable.

they make mini plug to L/R RCA inputs, just get a head unit with rca inputs and plug it in doesnt look the best having a headphone jack sticking out of the radio but you can route the wire into a cubby hole

I would do that, but I'm going to keep the BOSE headunit. They do make auxillary input units, and they're only lik $70-$90, so I'll probably go that route, and get one of the headphone to RCA inputs you're talking about.

thanks for the help
