Instrument Cluster Down

Today all my gauges stopped working. There is no fuse for the Instument cluster that i can find. I was told that i will need to buy a whole new instrument cluster. Is this true or does anyone else have any information about this?

From what I've read, cluster failures are common on 03 and up trucks.
