Default Installing Trans temp

I am wanting to put a trans temp gauge on my 95 GMC Sierra 1500.

I was told if I put the stock gauge cluster that comes with the trans temp like the cadilac gauge it would work?

is this true?

If so what about the Miles on the gauges? How would they appear.

I was gonna put one on the side but if I did that I wanna run more that one. Like maybe trans temp and air/fuel ratio.

You typed 95 but your sig says 05...which year is it??? If its the 05 then you can indeed swap in a ss,esky,HD cluster that has the gauge in it already..
If you buy a new cluster you can have the mile's put on it by the dealer (guy on ebay does it to).If you get one that has mileage on it it will still show the mileage of what it came out of
