Diggin' up a month old thread...my Basslink crapped out on me today dammit
It fired up for a few seconds, then just stopped working. The connections are all good and the power's on. If I had the cash I'd get another one or the one that Bradazz has, but I'm broke. If I got the same one, I wouldn't have to re-wire it

Just an update...I installed my replacement today, and the new one is smoked right out of the box
Wiring is good, it fires up, just no thump. Needless to say, I'm pissed...hope this isn't an ongoing thing...

I'm a putz....
I should know by now to properly diagnose something before I order a part
(must have been getting cocky...) Anyway, my amp is fine, but there's an open circuit in the power supply to it. I checked for voltage at the amp and there was only 7 volts, went under the hood and wiggled the power supply and voltage went up to 12, then down to 3. Turns out there's a bad connection in the fuse holder. Looks like I'll be installing a Basslink into my wife's Toyota Matrix soon
