GTECH PRO SS- do i have to use a cigarette lighter?

Default GTECH PRO SS- do i have to use a cigarette lighter?

Hey yall i was wondering if i have to use the cigarette lighter power supply with the GTECH or can i wire into the 12volt ignition?

Just wire in to any 12v, but I'd throw a inline fuse in too.

I went to a electronic shop and bought a small plug male and female. Ran key on power to a switch then to on post of the female termanal, the ran a ground to the other. then cut the G-tech cord and wire into the male end of the plug.


This post is very short, but I will come-up with a very detailed post with pics if you want them.
