Default Gtech Competition VS SS / RR models

I'm interested in buying a Gtech to play with. the older model 'Competitions' are much cheaper than the new model 'SS / RR' (obviously) but both look pretty modern (not the old dinosaur Gtech). Does anyone know the benefits of the new models over the 'Competition' model? Im not really understanding much difference between the SS and the RR either

I P.Med ya back. The compatitions are less acuret (sp). The SS and RR are the same but the RR has a Road Race setting that records front and back g force as well as side to side g- force. It also lets you down load and print-out data from your computer..

how less accurate are the competitions? ill never be getting my truck any faster than a mid to low 14, and even then, high 14's will take a while to get past. I just want a gtech for a toy since i am not able to make it to a real track ever, and as i add mods (truck is stock right now), it will be nice to see how much affect (about) each mod has as i add them one by one.
