Default Good Components 6.5"

My Silverado has MB Quartz Premium series speakers in all 4 doors and they have sounded great for the last 5 years with absolutely no issues.

It is now time to upgrade the speakers in the Tahoe I recently purchased. I am going to run whatever components I get off a JL 300/4 amp I have. For the money, what else is good?

I think the Premium Series quartz 6.5" are roughly around $400-500 per set.

I had Focals in my 2003 and they were awesome clear. I powered them with the JL500/5 so ~75 watts to each. I paid ~$650+

Wow... That is expensive. lol Focals must be the ****! I am going to see if anyone around here sells them so I could listen to them.

Bill - My truck is probably going to be sold soon. I am trying to hold onto it until after the Oct 6 show. Then demodding and off to its new owner.

It sucks, but all good things must come to an end. The last trans repair was the back breaker for me.

I am probably going to run it one more time.. I ran a 12.50 with 470rwhp. I now have 30rwhp and 50rwtq more than that run. Maybe a 12.3-12.4?? Not sure. I am going to be around still... We still need to go on that biek ride. I told you I bought another bike.
