im not dead set on components, whatever will add some quality sound for a good price

 

i would get coaxials. they already have the tweeter mounted and are made more for doors so imaging will be good. if i were you i would go to a local audio store with a demo wall set up and see what you like. and what ever you get get an amp that is a bit bigger than you need because you dont want to clip your speakers

 

Amp: JL Audio 1000 watt or Memphis 1000 watt amp mono block class D

Subs: JL Audio W0's or W3's, if you really want to spend the money go with a W7. I would use a Kicker Solo Barac L7 15's and run 2 JL Audio 500 watt amps. If you have $1300 don't go with RF. If you can buy the system at Best Buy, don't waste the money.

 

jl audio amps are sooo expensive though, the memphis amp is cheaper but no place in my town has one, i was looking at the Clarion 1500 watt amp, do you think it would work as good

Look for an Alpine MRD M1005... Should be around $400... Then Look for a Type R 15"... Should be around $220... Port the Box at 30-35 Hertz and it will be CRAZY loud and Still Have Great SQ...

Or, 2 Type R's 15's, Then Look for a Hifonics BXi 2006D (Around $350)... This is a great Street amp and will help you push those Type R's With no Problems (1K to each)... 2 type Rs and the BXi is a very great setup and is used by lots of people with Awesome Results...

These setups will run HUGE CIRCLES around the P2's in SQ, and SPL...
