Fabbing my system (need advice)
#1
Ok, I was setting in church today and I got the idea to build me a custom box with one sub on the center hump in front of the middle seat in the front of my 07 NNBS ECSB. I have decided to use one 12 inch sub and am leaning towards a Kicker L5 or L7. I know next to nothing about audio stuff and am looking for all the help I can get such as what amp to run and where to get matching carpet. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Honestly, the L5 or L7 would be the last i'd use as they prefer a larger ported box. So like a CVX, or small sealed. But, i wouldn't put the sub in front of me...for best sound, keep the mid and tweet up front, with a deep stage midbass, and keep subwoofer behind you.

04blackGMC is who you need to pm. here is what he did in his truck that sounds similar to what you want to do. I would ask him how it sounds and maybe get some specs off him if he still has them. Here is the link........

that's a CLEAN setup but as blueflamed03 said those solo's want as much air as you can possibly give them...if you just want some nice bass and not looking to shake the earth just go with (1) 10...the amp you run depends on what sub you decide to go with...and as far as the carpet idk if you have one by you but look for a Jo-Ann Fabrics they should have the carpet & the spray glue for the box...did you want the sub to be seen or no?
