it may be a short. my buddies camaro did the exact same thing a few weeks ago. turned out to be a burned wire by the header. i hate chasing electrical issues...

 

ZITTMAN did you ever get this fixed? My truck has some of these same problems. My ABS & Brake light flashes off n on while driving, headlights flicker and voltage drops, radio turns off for a couple secs but turns right back on and my oil psi gauge just jumps back and forth from 0-80. WTF

 

This is on a 06 GMC 5.3 CC ^^^^^^^

 

I bet you have an issue with the ignition switch. Would explain random lights coming on the dash and would also explain the engine cutting out randomly. Don't just go replacing it but maybe try to find of diagnostic procedures on an ignition switch.

 

Interior lights and park lights will come on at random times while the truck is turned off and parked.
