i have an 05 reg cab silverado. would a downfire box sound good in my truck? any suggestions

Man they need to make a sticky about downfire boxes. I have atleast seen 15 questions in the last month been about downfire boxes

They have (JL) boxes which go under EC back seats OR in the center Consol for Reg cabs.

I don't think you could fit downfiring subs behind the seat of a reg. cab silverado, I could barely fit a reg truck box behind mine. With the seat all the way back you have something like 8.5" of room at the bottom and 6.25" at the top.

heheh lies all lies.... i fit a 10in sound splinter rli 10 in a downfire box behind my seat. right around 1.0 ft^3... sounds bad *** but i did lose quite a bit of space... not that it really matters to me though cause im short (5'8") so its all good. i can get some pics later if you want..

get the probox superbass system. I've heard that with one jl w3 and it sounds amazing for just one 12" sub. It is a forward firing enclosure though.
