Default In dash cluster problems.

I have a 2004 GMC sierra. My cluster worked great up until like 2 years ago. Then my oil temp started acting crazy. I just let it go and then my speedo and my tach started acting weird and finally went out. Im in the process of a rebuild so i figured id knock this out at the same time. Any one delt with this. I was told their was a GM recall to fix it but when i called they said i was to late or some non sense like that. Thanks

Just need to take it apart and replace the stepper motors. 15 watt fine tip soldering iron and a solder sucker.
