Well, my youngest got me some dimmable red LEDs for my cluster and my father in law got me some white overlays and the Dorman lens upgrade. Not the stainless but silver which is fine cause it’ll match the trim rings on the pillar gauges when they go in. Took some time this morning and soldered in the LEDs, put on the overlays, new bezel and got her all back in. I might change up the LEDs later for better ones or maybe just add a couple extra but overall I’m happy with it.

 

Just went out and got a night shot, won’t be needing to add anymore or upgrade, these things are bright as hell. I’m glad they are dimmable, this is turned up full power just like the stock bulbs were.

yea, here is the ones I gave her the link to, they are surprising well made for the price, seems like a good quality vinyl too. Also these are the LEDs too, they come with resistors built in to make them dimmable

After driving to/from work today in the dark I’m very happy. The person who fixed my cluster when I first bought the truck said he didn’t suggest the red bc of the blue tint on the stock overlay. He said it didn’t look very red. Not sure what LED he is using but these are very red and look just as good as the dash in my Trans Am did. I love it.
