Exclamation CD stuck in stock cd player

I have been having problems with my stock cd player. I have a 2005 chevy silverado. Everytime I press eject I hear a clicking sound and it does not take out the cd. Is there anything I can do to fix it since it does not have a reset button? Should I disconnect the battery or a take out a fuse? If it is a fuse, which one?

you can try unplugging the radio to reset it but it is most likely a mechanical failure on the inside of the radio...if this is the cas your best bet is to get an aftermarket radio to put in it...

that happened to my cd player too. i had to stick somthing small and skinny enough to reach in the slot push down on some kind of release then the cd would start to come out and i would have to pull everything out real quick. i did that for about a year before i got tired of it and put in an aftermarket head unit. then that ended up getting stolen anyway
