Nope, no capacitor. I might look into the big 3 again, since I've already done one of them. Pretty much ruled it out though.. :/

If only 1 cable helped the problem it would be called the Big ONE not the Big 3

Here's my suggestion go over the dealership. GM has a customer site where you can register your truck, and basically complain about what the dealership can't find. I know this works b/c I've used it on my truck when it came to the lifter tap, and Eric used it on the HHR SS with the warping rotors. They do call you back within a few days.

Up grade to a 0/0 or #2 from the battery to the power distribution center. I have found this helps alleviate a bunch of troubles like you are experiencing. When I worked at a car audio shop this was the #1 cause next to the battery to alternator and battery to frame grounds.

Considering it has this problem WITHOUT any excessive draw on the system, to include stereo, AC fan, etc...the big three won't help the problem at all. I seriously doubt GM would have let a truck roll off the line with headlights that dim as bad as mine do and NOT have upgraded the wiring to a heavier gauge IF that would even fix the problem. With nearly the difference between high beams and low beams, post manufacturing inspection would undoubtedly have noticed.
And again, battery tests check out good...

have you had any issues with the radio resetting?
There was a service issue out on them when they came out because the fuse box kept melting internally and would cause the radio to randomly reset.

Hah, no I have never had that issue, and I do frequently check the fuse box for anything suspicious...

Check and retighen the three 13mm bolts on the power wire to the main maxi fuse by the battery. then measure your resistance from the neg cable to the end at the block. Sould be very little to none there, if it has- replace neg cable. Same goes for the poss, check voltage drop. You do have a problem and it's mostly in wiring.
