Put s 45sec delay in the fan#2 trigger. The amp draw/shock is insanely less if the fans are allready spinning.

My 05 came with a 140amp alternator. Also, if you havnt already, upgrade your grounds. Search Silverado Ground Issues and youll get tons of info on forums from guys complaining on electrical issues due to the tiny ground strap from the battery. I ran a 4ga wire from battery to frame to supplement the existing ground. You can also try the "Big 3" if you are really feeling froggy, but not necessary.
