Default big 3 wire upgrade

Has anyone done the big 3 wire upgrade, if so did it help with the electrical system and how long did it approximately take to do? thanks. I want to see if it is even worth while to spend the money on to do.

You dont need.

Its always good to do, but I have yet to see any positive results from it.

you can put the largest alt on your ride but if the cable cant carry the load it wont do nothing but cause a fire

Interested in this as well. My voltage needle drops whenever my subs hit.

Does anybody know the Gauge for each wire?

Doesn't the B+ wire to the alternator also serve as a fusible link to protect the entire electrical system in the case of an overcharging condition or internal short in the alternator?

I'm also curious as to who has done this mod and ended up with radio interference as a result. I'm not trying to be negative, just want to cover all the bases
