Default Big 3 Help???

My lights in my dash and headlights flicker when I turn my system up. So, I'm interested in doing the Big 3 Mod. I plan on either getting 0 or 4 gauge power wire. But, I don't know where to run it all? Do you guys have any pics or instructions? I'd like to use the factory grounding locations, and just remove all the factory crap. Where are the factory grounds?

4g will work fine for all of your big3 wires. It is such a short run that 1/0 will not gain anything. Your alternator is right on the top of the engine to the battery +. ground the battery to the frame. and the third is engine block to frame ground, i havent looked in my truck for doing it yet but i will be tomorrow, hopefully.

3 wires:

1 from alt to batt(this replaces the 8ga. fusable link wire so you will need a fuse preferably 100A inline.

1 from the batt negatve to chasis ground

1 from engine to chasis ground(I went from a bell housing bolt to the fram with this one)

Thats all you need to do. I would do 0ga. wire if you have it since 4ga. wont be that much bigger than whats already on there.

If this wasnt clear enough I can go take pictures if you like.
