whats better a jl audio w1 ten or a kicker cvr ten?

I have always been a kicker fan, but JL is top notch also. I don't think you would go wrong with either

well eventually im getting some w3's, but for now till i get everything else sorted out im either going cvr or w1. i just dont know which is better, i want the best out of the too, i imagine they are both a hell of alot better than a kicker comp, correct?

JL W1. It will have cleaner sound quality and would be just as loud.

what cab configuration are you putting this into RC, EC, CC? I would see what each sub manufactures recommend for air space and go from there...even if a sub is 'better' on paper it might not sound good in a smaller box...just a thought...

I vote JL W1, but if you plan on going W3 you should just spend the money once and go W3, IMO.

so far the w1 is a winner, so it will be cleaner, just as good sound quality, how hard do you think it will hit in this box, or which is better for this box design in a regular cab?
