Default Best- fold down TV? TV tuner?

I want to put a fold down TV in the yukon for the kiddos in the back. What is a good quality aftermarket one?

Also, ive seen those disc shaped black antennas on the tops of some SUVs, i assume that is a mobile tv tuner- who makes those?

Thanks

Tracvision makes the dishes that mount on the roof rack, and they are BADASS. I promise you that if you dish out the money for one, you won't complain, not once. Right around $3,500 for the unit from the dealer and most likely another $1,500+ for the install. Check out the A7, because that's what most big shops will carry.

Best thing to do is just go to a local audio shop for the screens. Audiovox and Clarion make some very popular models, as does Absolute, but they are on the lower end of reliability. You can buy models that have internal or external dvd players. Usually, buying a screen WITHOUT an internal dvd player, and buying a stand-alone dvd unit for the screen is by far the best bet. It is more work and it costs more, usually, but you'd have a nice, reliable setup.

From what I've dealt with, you usually end up with about the same cost when you do screens with an external dvd player. Prices usually vary when you have internal dvd players in the units themselves. I like the overhead units myself. They usually stay more scratch-free and if you ever have to remove the seats for any reason, you won't have to worry about messing with re-wiring.
