anyone put a GPS unit in the dash?

anyone put a GPS unit in the dash?
has anyone put a handheld GPS unit like a tomtom in the spot where the passenger air bag switch under the radio? any pics? i was looking at the tomtom one 3rd edition which is 3.5 inchs.
