Default Anyone familiar with the Alert 750R Remote Start?

If there is anyone out there familiar with this system PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE help me. When my uncle installed my converter he disconnected the battery and now the truck will not start remotely (it still starts with the key and the alarm features still work perfectly). All it would do is crank, fire and die. So I adjusted the crank time to .8 sec (from .6 sec) of crank time, it would still crank, fire and die and it would still be cranking after the fire. So then I knew the crank time was too long. So I pulled out the trusty installation manual and did some massive research, pushed some buttons and still nothing. So I figured I would reset the remote start and start all over, now I get nothing when I push the start button (it wont even stay running without the key in it anymore). It has a self diagnose thing on it and when I did it, it said that the tach rpm learn needed to be set. So I went through the steps for that and I get nowhere.

It says to start the truck within 10 sec of entering the programing mode, then when it learns the running rpm's the LED will blink and parking lights will flash. Well I am getting no blink or flash.

Anyone know anything about this system? I would just take it in to the guy who installed it for me and have him fix it for free, but he is in Tulsa,OK and I now live in Santa Fe, NM. Now you know why I desperately need your help.

Sounds like the passlock is the problem. I don't know how it is installed or what was used for the interface but it sounds like classic passlock problem.

Or look to see where they made a tach connection at and see if the wire got pulled off. It can be made to a fuel injector, a coil or the actual tach output at the cluster or the PCM

I assume you got this fixed by now but just in case, try this with the remote starter:
