Default Anyone ever install aftermarket backup camera?

Recently added a topper and have a very hard time seeing out of it at night or anytime it rains. Thinking of doing a backup camera anyone had any good luck with a specific one? Not worried about the install mostly worried about picture quality/durability.

1Aauto sells one that is a factory style tailgate trim mount. That’s the one I’m planning to use just for the OEM aspect.

Kinda funny I ended up ditching the topper instead of doing a camera. However now I might be needing one for a Tahoe.

Get the twin stalk tow mirrors and you can see into another dimension with them!

that said, my truck is pre-wired for the cam. Ran the wire when I redid my interior. Haven't selected a cam tho

I did an aftermarket backup camera in a stock bezel made for backup camera and used an adapter from a guy on eBay. It’s been working flawlessly for 5 years.

Compared to my friends 2015 with stock camera it’s 1000 times more crisp and clear. His is grainy and colors are muted.. At night it’s just fine with LED backup lights.

Do you know the brand of the camera by chance?
