Going cheap on this one. go fast is my game so try not to hate to bad on my lil combo. Got a soundstream 2f400 amp for 30.00 and a rockford p1 10" in a carpeted box for 50 so I fifured I would add a lil bass to ole red. Should I bridge the amp or just run it to one channel? will it sound decent?

I would bridge it and set the gain on the amp low,but make sure the Ohms are not below what the amp can take or you will have a smoke show.

 

P1 should be a SVC 4 ohm. Just to be absolutely sure you can test it with a multimeter. But you should be good bridging it.

 

P1 can be a 8 or 4 ohm, both SVC. Won't be much bump, but dial it in and definitely bridge it. No point whatsoever in running the sub to one channel on a two channel amp.

 

Thanks guys! Its actually plenty of bump for me. Jus adds some low end to my music it was missing. Not trying to shake pictures off the wall. Good info...
