Default All in one head unit

Need a quick suggestion for a good receiver with easy to use GPS for the 2003 Av in my signature. Stock is double DIN with Bose (no sat radio) and steering wheel mounted controls. Would also like to add backup camera since my daughter is now driving the '03. Thanks.

Any of the pioneer avic series headunits are a great bang for the buck. The have a wired input you can use the PAC-SWI-X steering wheel control adaptor and everything works correctly. I have used these headunits a bunch with great results.

All comes down to what you want to spend. You'll need the proper harnesses regardless of the head unit, because of the steering wheel controls and possible On-Star, if you want to retain that feature(s). Give me a number on price.

I have been researching double din A/V/Nav units for my Tahoe and I am leaning toward the Clarion NX501. The reviews on it are excellent stating how great the nav works and UI's ease of use. Although one of my criteria is a rotary volume **** so that leaves out a lot of other good units such as the newer model Pioneers. On a secondary note, I was also looking at a Kenwood but many reviews and one opinion from a local store say their UI is not intuitive and hard to navigate and the Garmin nav was disappointing. I only mention that since it was one of your criteria.

JVC KW-NT's, IMO. All day, a great unit. Haven't heard any complaints about them. Not a fan of Clarion in-dash's.
