Can I get an update on this? Looking for remote start as well. Could really care less about the alarm. I just hate walking out to a cold truck every morning.
How hard is this to install myself? I can cut and splice and run wire loom :p

Local stereo joint wants to charge me $450 installed. That's just silly.

Most the time with a remote start if you have to ask how to do it, it's over your head. although i dont know your ability with electronics slowhoe I still recommend having a good shop do it because they will have a warranty on their work. Best Buy gets a bad rep for not hiring competent installers but the store I work at we are the best in the area and way better than the stand alone shops and my installers are more than competent enough to do a remote start. Best Buy is a licensed retailer of dei so everything is under manufactures and store warranty if you go through them.
