My AEM is kinda a pain, but after alot of internet research, I ran a ground wire directly to the battery and connected directly to the gauge and it seemed to help... As soon as I can afford it I am going to get different one...

Do you notice this occurs after going into boost? Mine does the same thing oncein a while, trims go nuts and then settle down. We have a similar setup, 2bar? MAF?

Are you sure what your seeing isn't DFCO? Is it happening while coasting at speed with no throttle?(High Vacuum ) Under these conditions your PCM Will cut all fuel to the injectors and your Meter will Peg lean, Like 17+ until you give another throttle input. Does that seem like what your seeing?

no, when the sensor fails it will tend to read lean, and stay lean, not flip flop.

The sensors are changeable, as a matter of fact I have an extra one just in case. Another thing I noticed with mine is it would read a less than what the scanner was showing... Usually .2 less, it was frustrating getting it working correctly, but after reading on EFI and HPT forums, alot of guys fixed it by running a ground into the Scanning cable and a Ground connected to the battery. Mine seems to be working now...
