i have a 00 Silverado 2500 with the stock AM/FM/caset/CD player in it and i was wondering if there is anyway to tap into the cd player part of it, it is separate from the HU for those that do not know, but if its possiable to do this, which wires are which?

 

Yes, you can get a aux input, I believe GM9 for your application. PacAud makes one. Search under GM aux input on google and you'll find it. SHould run ~$60-80
