i got a 03 gmc that im workin on.the original 105 amp is a 3 wire and the brought me a 03 ss 145 amp which is a 2 wire.he wants to put the 145 2 wire cause the volts r really low with 105 cause he got e fans and a system.so can i modify to fit? is there a way to wire it ? thanks in advance

 

i just installed i 145 today frm a 03 and what do you mean by 2 wire or 3 wire ? i just had the oval plug and a large wire on the back side ? i also used a over drive pulley.

 

Just plug it in. It will work.

 

the 2 wire plug is different than the 3 wire plug

 

plugs from 1996-05 should be the same . they change in 06+ i think

 

05 half tons got the 2 wire plug. When they went to e fans they put the 2 wire 145a alts on them.
