Default 2003 GMC Sierra bose upgrade question

So I have an 03 gmc ext cab with a double din pioneer HU (Avh-p2300DVD) pushing an mb quart 1500 watt amp and two 12 cvr's. I'm still running my stock bose amp and speakers and the mids in my front doors are going bad. I was wondering if there are some good speakers I ca replace them with or if I should bypass the bose and get an amp and a set of components. And if so what is good? Thanks

I would recommend either doing a amp on some components, maybe some Boston acoustics or mb quarts. On the amp you would be better off just running a 2 channel sub amp for the front component sets, if that's the route you wanna go. Or you could just do some nice 2 or 3 way 6 1/2 door speakers and run them off your head unit. The Bose system runs on something like 3ohms, so if you put any other aftermarket speakers in your truck besides Bose they're not gonna sound good. If you don't want to use Bose you're better off using something aftermarket and running them straight off the head unit. It will sound a lot better. If you wanna spend a little cash, get two nice component sets and run them off a amp.
